Simple lemon salad dressing
/This is my favorite go to salad dressing and marinade and I’m a bit obsessed with using it on everything. This recipe makes a small amount, but I usually quadruple it in a big quart sized jar so I always have some on hand.
I use it on all kinds of salads and I also love to marinade chicken in it or use it to baste on chicken or fish as it cooks. It’s also really great on grilled or roasted veggies.
Lemon Dressing & Marinade Recipe:
2/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
This is a very versatile recipe so you can feel free to follow it as-is or make any kind of variations you like.
Caesar salad hack:
Quick tip - if you’re craving caesar salad, you can just add a few dashes of Thai fish sauce and some parmesan cheese to this dressing (or any similar vinaigrette type dressing) and you’ll end up with a flavor very similar to a caesar dressing. I know not everyone keeps fish sauce in their cupboard, but I always have some around because I love the flavor it can add.
