How I Keep It All From Getting Lost!

I don't really do product reviews, it's not my thing here.  In fact, this is the first time I've ever written an entire post just for the purpose of telling you about a product.  And don't worry, I'm not going to become one of those blogs that's just trying to sell you stuff. But if I come across a product that I think is really awesome, then I am definitely going to tell you about it.

If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you may have noticed in my lunch pictures that all of our lunch containers have name stickers on them.  Those stickers are all by Name Bubbles. I LOVE them for my kids stuff, and I use them on everything. Seriously, I've even put them on underwear and socks that have been left at school.

Now, before I go on, I want to note right up front that I'm not being compensated for this review - I don't get any commission if you buy from them and they did not pay me (or even ask me) to write this.  They have sent me a few packs of free labels, as a thank you for all of the times that I share their labels in my social media posts, but that's it.

I just ordered five new packs of labels, so I'm excited to see how they look!

So, back to why I love Name Bubbles...

They are little custom labels that you can use to put on, well, everything.  I've been using these for about 5 years now. I first found out about this category when I had a friend who was labeling her bottles to send to daycare with her baby. I had never even heard of such a thing!

We never needed anything for daycare, as my babies always stayed home, but once they started going to preschool I definitely wanted an easy and permanent way to label their stuff, so I have been putting these labels on everything we own ever since.

We use them on anything that my kids are going to be taking out of the house.  In addition to all of our lunch containers, I have Name Bubbles on shoes, coats, sweaters, backpacks, lunch bags, ski and bike helmets, gloves and hats, utensils, luggage, sippy cups, snack cups, headphones, toys, water bottles, the list goes on... I even put them on my daughter's asthma inhalers that we leave at school, and on the bottom of my husband's travel coffee mug that he takes to work, and on the underwear and socks that are in my girls' bags of extra clothes at school.

The stickers are dishwasher and laundry safe, and really the only time they have come off is if I didn't have them on very good in the first place, or if a small child has decided to pick at it.

I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I have things in my house that still have their labels on after 5 years of daily use!

I have shoes that my child has worn, I've handed down to a friend for her child to wear, and she has handed back to me for another of my younger children to wear - still with their Name Bubbles sticker on.  We have sippy cups that are at least 5 years old and have been through the dishwasher at least several hundred times, still with their labels on.

You may know that we have an autistic child.  He has tons of awesome qualities, but keeping track of his stuff is not one of them.  I regularly go around the school gathering up his belongings that he has left in his wake.  A product like Name Bubbles is a big sanity (and money!) saver when you have a child like this - I've gotten so many of his things returned at school because of their labels.

It's just a little bit of extra peace of mind - and as a mom of two sets of twins, and a mom of a special needs child - I'll take a little extra help wherever I can get it. I'm always a fan of any little thing that can be done to make like just a little easier for yourself.

My kids all just know now that they need a name sticker on their things before they head out the door with them.  Any time somebody gets something new, one of the first things they do is ask me to put their name sticker on it.

Because I have four kids, I like that I can customize the labels however I want.  They have tons of color options available, cute little graphics, and lots of sizes to choose from.  I was able to order packs for each of my kids in a color scheme that included each of their favorite colors, so it makes it easy for us to identify whose is whose just by glancing at the color of the sticker.

For our lunch and drink containers I usually go for the small round labels, I just like that little size.  I guess these are the original 'bubble' in the name. But I also love the variety of sizes to suit different needs.  I have medium sized labels on backpacks and the outside of lunch bags.  We have shoe shaped labels that help them identify which shoe goes on which foot.  I even have some huge ones on our big bags that we use as luggage when we travel - they make our bags much easier to spot, and they stay on much better, than an average luggage tag.

You can see from some of these pics how wide the variety of choices is, and just a few of the ways that we use them.

If you try them out let me know, I'd love to hear what you think!
